The installation was good , the two fitters Nico and his brother was excellent, . I have to say that Thomas the Boss has not been as good. We had this work carried out in late September l have continued to seek a written guarantee as they offer 10 year's since the installation and also to clear out some cement that was left when re-seating some of the edge tiles. Still waiting over 5 months. Thomas has promised on many occasions to let me have the guarantee and clear the guttering but to date no visit at all. This not the service l would expect from a local company and for the money paid. I leave you to make your minds up. Update still waiting for Tom to sort out tiles and clean the guttering out as he said he would even on a visit on the 2nd July 2026 this year , still nothing. Its now 29th 2026 September and still no written guarantee!!!!!!! Platinum roofing.Posted on Google
Natalie Bertoncello16 days agoRequested a quote on 23rd august - they came round the week after but never sent one through despite reminding them 3 times and being told they’d send it. So after a month of waiting to hear I gave up. After leaving this review, they rang me to say their family member had been unwell so had to take two weeks off work - this was apparently the reason for the delay.Posted on Checkatrade![profile picture]()

Tina117 days agoInitial Consultation & Communication with Thomas of Blackstone Roofing Ltd was thoughtful, clear and thorough. providing a clear quote, explained the pre-existing problems, offered good advice on material choices, and kept us updated on timelines. And costs. The crew were punctual, polite, tidy, and respectful of our property throughout their time with us. The cleanup daily and on completion was thorough including removal of old debris and left the site spotless. The project was finished within budget and we received a guarantee or warranty for peace of mind. Highly recommended Tina and Mike+0Posted on Google

Catherine Smalley130 days agoBlackstone completed a two-day job replacing our bay window roof. It now looks much smarter and they were tidy and efficient. I appreciated Tom visiting and checking we were pleased with everything. Thank you!Posted on Google
Matt152 days agoBlackstone charged us over £16k to fix two roof leaks by retiling part of our roof (we supplied the tiles), fitting a new membrane and battens and recovering the flat roof. Months later, one leak remains, and they managed to create another. They also remounted the solar panels incorrectly, cutting the mounting brackets. This has been assessed by the installer, who confirmed the panels are no longer properly secure. On top of that, roof tiles were left marked with white streaks. Expensive work, poor workmanship, and problems we did not have before they arrived.Posted on Google

Catty213 days agoTom and the team recently replaced our entire roof and installed a new dry ridge and dry verge system. The guys were very professional, polite, on time, and did a great job. They left everything spotless afterwards which was very helpful - so many builders don’t do this! I’d definitely recommend Blackstone for roofing work. We have used a few companies in recent years and they are by far the best.Posted on Trustatrader

Brilliant and swift gutter repair by Tom at Blackstone roofing. We had a displaced gutter pouring water from the roof, and Colin did a fantastic job to make good with no charge for the work. I would recommend Blackstone roofing for all customers seeking speed, reliability and fantastic workmanship.Posted on Trustatrader
Jo378 days agoTom and his team recently put a new roof on my mum’s house. We were very impressed with how hard all the roofers worked and how clean and tidy they left the house every day. And thank you Tom for coming out to see what was required within hours of the initial call. Most appreciated.Posted on Checkatrade![profile picture]()
434 days agoThey do what they say they are going to do. What I thought was a minor problem turned out to be something else entirely. Tom and the team were responsive and very thoughtful, knowing that I was a bit rattled by the whole thing. Excellent communication. Even when I had to be away I knew I was in safe hands. They got several other small repairs off my never-ending worklist as well. They do what they say they are going to do. This hasn't always been my experience dealing with other trades and it means a lot. I will be asking them back for phase 2.Posted on Checkatrade![profile picture]()

536 days agoGutter Clean/Roof repair We had a card through which we answered because we'd had a problem with our gutters getting blocked. They then showed us photos of he wood behind the facias, which was rotten. They explained to us in detail what needed doing and how they would do it. The work was done well, and we were really impressed with how quick and tidy they were. It was obvious they were working very hard. We've had issues with workmen but they were excellent.Posted on Checkatrade![profile picture]()

570 days agoAccountant I was recommended Blackstone roofing by a friend when I was considering roofing works to my property. I contacted the Blackstone team for my quotation and they were so helpful from minute 1. I opted to proceed with Blackstone as my roofing contractor of choice and I’m over the moon that I did. Excellent communication every day, the works look absolutely amazing and my house was left spotless. Without a doubt one of the best trades I’ve ever had the pleasure of using. Thanks so much.Posted on Checkatrade![profile picture]()

new flat roof to garage Good job fitting new boarding, edging and three layer ash felt to double garage roof in cold weather. Removed all old boarding and felt from the site on completion and even swept clean the garage floor inside. The only downer was some patching areas on the cap layer and some damage to the neighbor's garage cladding .+1Posted on Trustatrader

Clive624 days agoI’m so happy with the fibreglass roof they installed on my extension. The team was highly skilled, and the fibreglass material is both durable and low-maintenance. It’s also great for preventing leaks, which is exactly what I needed. I can already tell it’s going to last for years to come!Posted on Checkatrade![profile picture]()

The company is a scam. They will promise heaven and earth during quotation including lifetime guarantee just to get your money. once they get your money that's it. They did a shady job after collecting £4000. Roof is still leaking everywhere. I have called the several times and now the number goes directly to voicemail. I called with another unknown number and he picked. He's claiming he has moved to Australia and no one can come and fix the shady job he did. The worst company ever came acrossPosted on Bark![mr. john lavers profile picture]()

Mr Clarke2318 days agoWe had Platinum roofing replace the bargeboards and re-cement the ridge tiles on our roof. Linda oates2349 days agoRoof Repair Having had such an excellent job undertaken on our roof we had no hesitation in using Platinum Roofing to undertake the work to repair and redecorate the problems left inside. As with the work undertaken previously they discussed with us what was required again nothing was to much trouble and as the ceiling needed repairs we decided to remove the artex so they set about removing this then repairing ceilings and painting this and all walls to the lounge and dining room, they work so hard and keep everything clean and tidy daily you can not fault them, and we would recommend them and not hesitate to use them again ourselves. There finish is like looking at a decorating brochure. Great Team 1st Class xxPosted on Bark![Linda oates profile picture]()
